This performance was something Nick Mestad (Fallon, The Rehearsal) had been doing for years at Upright Citizens Brigade and for his own personal social accounts.

The goal for us here was to up the production value to the cinematic levels it deserved as well as embellish each and every terrifying punch line.

We shot the entire thing on green screen, which I comped out in post. What a fun edit. I'm very happy with the VFX at the end, but the crown jewel was discovering the music. It just couldn't be more perfect, and it's not leaving my head anytime soon.
