Brenyama, a pop-punk band from New Jersey, was looking to do something similar to the psychedelic aesthetic of David Bowie's "Ashes to Ashes" music video for their first single. Instead of simply slapping on a few adjustment layers and calling it a day, I decided I wanted to take the idea a step further, modernize it, and finesse it.

Enter my crash-course in extensive rotoscoping. I spent most of my free time over the better part of two months perfecting the VFX in After Effects. I couldn't be happier with the final result!
